Spanish tapas bar and restaurant Salvador & Amanda has now opened a second venue in Bloomsbury, offering a combination of traditional Spanish eat, as well as quirky takes on some old favourites.
Be fine dining restaurant Cadaqués which has 33 covers, and a downstairs tapas bar that can cater for up to 100 diners, are both presided over by chef Rubén Darío Estrella (formally of salt yard).
Typical offerings from the tapas menu include pork belly confit in iberico lard with spinach and membrillo; applewood smoked monkfish, gooseberry and crispy pancetta; yellowfish tuna carpaccio with cherry tomato and chilli sauce; as well as the ubiquitous tortilla, olives and has croquettes.
Salvador & Amanda: be transported to sunny Spain okay (Bloomsbury) at Salvador and Amanda. Barely open six months, this tapas restaurant and bar is already hit for its great cocktails and delicious Iberian-influenced tapas menu courtesy of chef Rubén Darío Estrella.
